1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, accepting a Proforma Invoice (PI), or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with your order.

2. Custom Ordering & Dimensions

Because our doors and furniture are customized to specific sizes, shapes, and options:

• The buyer is solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all sizes, wood species, laminate codes, and quantities mentioned in the Proforma Invoice (PI) before making the advance payment.
• No modifications or sizing changes can be made once the wood has been cut or core assembly has started. Any requested alterations post-cutting will be charged at 100% material cost.
• A manufacturing tolerance of up to +/- 2mm in height, width, and thickness is normal and acceptable in timber sizing due to mechanical sanding and polishing.

3. Payment Terms

Our standard payment terms for manufacturing and supplying orders are as follows:

• Advance Payment: A minimum of 50% advance of the total order value is required to queue the order for production.
• Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be cleared and credited to our bank account before the dispatch of goods from our manufacturing plant in Botad.
• Goods will not be handed over to any transporter or driver unless full payment is received.

4. Timber Characteristics & Seasoning

Wood is a natural, live material subject to environmental changes:

• Natural grains, knots, minor cracks (filled during finishing), and color variations are natural characteristics of teakwood, Ghana wood, and veneers, and are not considered defects.
• While we kiln-season all core timber, wood reacts to extreme ambient humidity. To prevent warping or swelling, raw solid wood doors must be polished or sealed on all six sides (including top and bottom edges) within 7 days of site delivery. We are not responsible for warping due to unsealed exposure to moisture.

5. Limitation of Liability

Gujarat Door will not be held liable for any delay in construction timelines, carpenter charges, or project delays arising from transport transit delays, weather conditions, or labor shortages. Our liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement value of the specific defective door or item supplied.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and all purchase agreements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with orders shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Botad/Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
